A short guide through the largest HR event in the region!

The 12th edition of the HR Days conference is approaching, so we bring you a short (yet comprehensive) overview of the activities so that you can make the most of the largest gathering of HR professionals.

Despite the fact that the conference officially opens its doors on May 8, for a more enjoyable start to this year's story, we have prepared several activities for the so-called day zero, May 7 in the early evening hours.

We invite you to join us at a workshop dedicated to creating optimal action plans, as well as a pleasant Wine Tasting & HR Speed Dating. All participants of the HR Days conference will receive application forms for the mentioned activities in the week before the conference, and we recommend a quick and timely response, as the number of places is limited.

From managing low performersto the application of artificial intelligence

The first day of the conference, May 8, will begin with a short welcome speech at 10 a.m., which will be preceded by the collection of accreditations at 9 a.m. (for those who did not collect their accreditation the night before) and a welcome coffee, which is an opportunity to talk with your colleagues from the world of human resources.

After the opening greetings from the organizers, follows a lecture by a prominent world expert on resilience, Ronan Harrington, who will enrich you with his personal story and experience working for Oxford University, the British Government, Sky and other prestigious organizations. We would like to emphasize that you will have the opportunity to communicate directly with Ronan, as well as with all other lecturers, by asking questions or leaving comments using the Slido application.

After Ronan, there will be lectures on team management and motivation of low performers, models for building great bosses and practical applications of artificial intelligence in human resources. During the coffee breaks, you can expect a rich offer that will keep you refreshed until lunch, and you will have a meeting point at your disposal where you can make new contacts or renew existing ones with your colleagues from the HR world.

The first day will also offer the presentation of projects that are in competition for the Best regional HR practices awards, as well as the announcement of the best ones. This is followed by a dynamic panel on the topic of inclusion of foreign workers, which will also point out successful practices of inclusion and for the first time present the results of a survey of foreign workers' satisfaction. In the evening, it's again time for networking and entertainment in the Lone hotel club with the famous band "Retrodukcija" and a baquet.

Let's focus on practical stuff

We open the second day of the conference with a lecture by a recognized American expert on creating content for the purpose of employer branding. The following is a practical lecture by the company Deep Project, during which you will learn everything secrets of neuroscience in creating highly functional teams, and in order for you to take real value from the conference, the rest of the day will be dedicated to interactive and constructive workshops. Also, another dynamic panel awaits us on the still current topic of return to the office, which will deal with the Shakespearean question 'to return or not to return?'.

We will conclude the conference with one of the biggest European experts in the field of human resources, who will present to us in his provocative way the role of the middle manager in employee retention.

If you haven't booked your place at the all-inclusive HR event of the year yet, the good news is that you still can!

The registration fee does not include accommodation in beautiful Rovinj, but we also jumped in with special prices for accommodation in the Lone Hotel. You can find all the details on the conference website.

We are looking forward to meeting you (again) in Rovinj!
