
Željko Antolić is one of the leading human resources experts in the Croatian tech industry, with extensive experience in leadership development, strategic talent management, and organizational transformation.
He holds a master's degree in electrical engineering and has over 35 years of professional experience at Ericsson Nikola Tesla, during which he has built an interdisciplinary career at the intersection of technology, research and development, and human resources management. He has more than 20 years of experience in research and development (R&D), along with a strong understanding of technological processes, innovation, and product development.
For over 30 years, he has held responsible managerial roles, leading people, complex projects, and multidisciplinary teams, with a focus on achieving business goals and developing organizational capabilities. For the past 17 years, he has been actively involved in the field of human resources management, where he has gained extensive experience in both strategic and operational HR.
Currently, he is a member of the executive management team at Ericsson Nikola Tesla, an ICT leader with nearly 3,000 employees, serving as the director of human resources and culture. He has five years of experience in this role and is responsible for the overall HR strategy and the operational management of an organization of 28 HR specialists. The HR function is structured through specialized teams for HR operations, talent management and development, compensation and benefits, payroll, and an internal HR academy, ensuring a comprehensive and systematic approach to human resource management.
Throughout his career, he has continuously invested in personal and professional development, completing a range of international and domestic training programs in human resources, leadership, business strategy, quality, and finance. He has honed his skills at prestigious institutions such as IEDC Bled School of Management, Innovation Institute, Zagreb School of Economics and Management, EAB Stockholm, and others. In addition to formal education, he attended numerous workshops and training sessions in soft skills (personal development, communication, team and organizational management) as well as technical training aligned with his growth through various roles – from engineering to management.
