Željka Pleše currently holds the position of Head of Human Resources for Croatia and Slovenia at British American Tobacco (BAT), where she is responsible for providing HR support to business operations across the markets of Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, which are part of the BAT Adria cluster. She is in charge of leading and developing human resources for central functions, including areas such as finance, marketing, and corporate functions.
She has more than 15 years of experience in the field of human resource management, with a particular focus on strategic HR partnership, organizational transformation, change management, labor law, and relations with social partners. Throughout her career, she has actively participated in complex projects involving the optimization of organizational structures, as well as the development of HR policies and practices in an international business environment.
