Maja Crnjak was born in 1975 in Zagreb. After finishing gymnasium, she graduated Business Administration in Heidelberg and MBA in London and Heidelberg. Her professional career started in 1997 at Ernst & Young Management Consulting and from 2000 she worked in telecom holding different positions. In 2005 she joined Erste & Steiermärkische Bank d.d as Human Resources Director, where she works till today. During this period she spent 2 years at Erste Group Bank AG in Vienna heading Competency and Performance Management Department for Erste Group, where she was responsible for setting up performance management process for the whole Erste Group. Meanwhile she graduated Master of Science at Zagreb University of Economics, with final thesis in the area of human resources.
