Ivan Vidiš

Ivan Vidiš is the State Secretary at the Ministry of Labor, Pension System, Family, and Social Policy, whose area of responsibility includes the labor market and employment policies, with a special focus on active employment policy measures, as well as the regulation of labor relations and the management and implementation of operational programs co-financed by the European Social Fund.

Before being appointed as State Secretary, he worked as an advisor in the Minister's Cabinet, responsible for coordinating and managing international activities, and played a key role in preparations for Croatia's presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2020. He gained valuable professional experience in the field of diplomacy working as an intern at the Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs, and Inclusion of the European Commission, and as an employee at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia. In 2014, he had the opportunity to serve in the office of Andrej Plenković, then a member of the European Parliament. Ivan Vidiš holds a master's degree in Contemporary Democracies: Federalism, Nationalism, and Multiculturalism from Pompeu Fabra University, as well as a degree in Political Science from the Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb.
