Doc. dr. sc. Maja Parmač Kovačić is a professor at the Department of Work and Organizational Psychology within the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Zagreb. At the Faculty of Philosophy, she participates in the teaching of courses including Introduction to the Psychology of Work, Motivation and Behavior in the Workplace and Employee Selection and Development, and is a lecturer for the Psychology of Human Resources Management course at the University's postgraduate specialist study on Human Resource Management.
She has actively participated in a large number of scientific and professional projects. Her central research interest is linked to personality assessment and socially desirable responses to personality questionnaires. She co-authored a scientific book as well as numerous scientific papers, some of which have been published in internationally recognized journals such as the International Journal of Selection and Assessment, Journal of Personality Assessment and Personality and Individual Differences.
She has designed and adapted a number of measurement instruments and participated in domestic and international scientific and professional conferences. She is a member of the editorial board for Contemporary Psychology and a member of the Department of Organizational Psychology for the Croatian Psychological Society, Croatian Psychological Chamber, European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology and the European Association of Personality Psychology.
