Maja Parmač Kovačić is an external professor at the Department of Work Psychology and Ergonomics at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. She teaches a variety of courses at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels in psychology at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb, as well as courses in the interdisciplinary specialist postgraduate program in Human Resource Management at the University of Zagreb.
She has actively participated in numerous scientific and professional projects. Her central research interest revolves around personality assessment in professional selection and leadership in organizations. Recently, her research focus has shifted towards the issue of foreign workers in Croatia – their working and living conditions, job satisfaction, and the attitudes of domestic workers towards them. So far, she has co-authored one scientific book and published a large number of scientific papers, some of which have been published in internationally recognized journals (such as the International Journal of Selection and Assessment, Journal of Personality Assessment, Personnel Psychology). She has also developed and adapted several measurement instruments and has participated in numerous domestic and international scientific and professional conferences.
