Marija is a lawyer and joined Carlsberg in 2008 as a Legal Counsel within the Human Resources department. Throughout her career at Carlsberg, she has participated in and led numerous cross-functional projects, most notably the positioning of Somersby within the Croatian legal framework. She has also led all projects related to compliance with Carlsberg policies, including competition law, anti-bribery and anti-corruption, GDPR implementation, and similar initiatives.

The panel's goal is to open an honest and realistic conversation about the actual influence of HR in the board – without idealization, but with a clear focus on the future of HR leadership.
