
There are events that last for years, and there are those that grow, change, and evolve over time, learning from every generation of participants to create something more than just a conference.
It all started in 2012, at a time when the labor market was searching for a new direction and HR was still finding its voice. In such an environment, MojPosao (now part of the Alma Career group) recognized the need to connect the profession and create a space for sharing knowledge, ideas, and experiences. This led to the creation of the first conference in Croatia dedicated exclusively to human resources – the HR Days conference.
The goal back then was simple yet visionary: to strengthen the role of HR in the business world and demonstrate that people management is more than just administration. It is a strategic function that builds culture, drives change, and defines the future of companies.
Fourteen years later, the HR Days conference has grown into the largest and most influential HR, Leadership & business event in the region.
Every year, more than 500 HR professionals, managers, and leaders from Croatia and the region gather to exchange ideas, share experiences, and inspire one another. It is a place where HR gains new meaning, and leaders come to get a new perspective on how to lead people and organizations in a world that is changing faster than ever.
And while some think they know what to expect, we love to prove them wrong.
Because HR Days are never the same.
Every year we push the boundaries, introducing new formats, fresh topics, global trends, and networking opportunities that happen nowhere else.
Our stage has hosted the likes of Dave Ulrich, Natal Dank, Adrian Furnham, Armin Trost, Cyriel Kortleven, and many other global authorities who have inspired thousands of HR professionals to change the way they think about people, organizations, and business.
Their messages, experiences, and ideas have become part of the DNA of the regional HR community.
The latest edition, from 2025, debuted with a major step forward. That was when HR Days evolved into a three-day event packed with innovation:
- HR talks where real challenges were discussed openly,
- Hot seats with local experts who continued the discussion after the keynote speeches,
- Practical workshops that provided participants with concrete solutions,
- And, of course, a record dose of networking because the best ideas often emerge precisely between sessions.
This gave HR Days an even clearer structure, more space for interaction, and additional value for every participant. However, what makes us happiest is the fact that the spirit of community, which has existed from the very beginning, remains the heart of everything we do.
That is why today, as we step into the new 14th edition of the HR Days conference, we are not just celebrating years of existence, but the development of the profession, the community, and the idea that HR is not "just" a department, but a driver of change.
