They say: "Knowledge is power."
True, but only if we know how to apply it.
That’s why, this year as well, from May 6th to 8th, the HR Days conference brings a series of dynamic and inspiring workshops that will push you out of your comfort zone and enable you to acquire concrete skills, useful tools, and a new perspective on key challenges in people management.
What can you expect from this year's workshops?
Feedback as a retention tool of the best – why is it not used more often?
The workshop will be led by Đurđica Preočanin Korica, an experienced HR professional who has honed her expertise in large corporations such as Coca-Cola HBC, Siemens, AstraZeneca, and Addiko Bank. In addition to being a certified coach (PCC), Đurđica is a passionate advocate of personal development and open communication within organizations.
In her workshop, you will discover how a feedback culture can become a key tool for employee retention, and why, despite the general consensus on its importance, it still hasn't become part of everyday practice. If you’re wondering why it’s so difficult to give someone honest feedback—and even harder to receive it—this workshop offers answers and concrete strategies to overcome these barriers.
How to develop an authentic leadership style?
The Heart of Employee Happiness: Communication
Jozef Plško is a communication expert—and he knows that poor communication often lies at the root of organizational problems. With over 20 years of experience in PR and strategic communication at companies like Jaguar Land Rover and Foxconn, he now leads PR and communications at Alma Career for Central Europe, the Balkans, and the Baltic countries.
In this workshop, you will learn how to improve communication within your team, increase employee engagement, and build a work culture where people feel heard and valued. Through concrete examples, we will explore how to communicate effectively during organizational changes and how to overcome communication barriers that often sabotage success.
Employee Turnover Risk – Witch Hunt as an HR Process
When employees leave, many organizations panic and search for a "culprit" instead of focusing on the real causes of the problem. Antonija Bušić Crnković, an experienced psychologist and labor market researcher, has been analyzing employment trends and employee satisfaction for years.
In this workshop, we will explore how to recognize the early signs of dissatisfaction and prevent the "silent resignation" of employees before it becomes a serious issue. Instead of witch hunts, we will learn how to use employee satisfaction surveys and structured analysis to uncover what truly motivates people to stay—or leave.
Make Your Inner Imposter – An Imposter (Women, Confidence, and Leadership)
Mirna Koričan Lajtman, an experienced expert in applied psychology and organizational development, researches the impact of imposter syndrome on women in leadership positions. In addition, Mirna has a PhD from the University of St. Gallen and has created innovative methods for developing managers through gamification and AI technology.
In her workshop, you will discover how imposter syndrome can affect your self-confidence and career development, and you will learn concrete strategies for overcoming it. Through questionnaires, reflection, and interactive exercises, you will work on transforming your internal blocks, recognizing your strengths, and breaking negative patterns. This workshop is an opportunity to learn how to free yourself from doubt and fully embrace your potential as a leader.
Organizational Culture – The Biggest Unused Business Asset or the Silent Growth Killer?
Jasna Horvat, Natalija Kordić, and Zachary Merfert, experts in organizational culture, bring you a workshop that will help you improve the culture within your organization and link it to business results. Jasna and Natalija, co-founders of Razum, specialize in shaping sustainable and successful organizational cultures, while Zachary, an expert from Denison Consulting, brings a global perspective on culture management.
In this workshop, you will learn how to use the Denison Organizational Culture Model to create a resilient and adaptable work environment. Through examples of best global practices and concrete tools, you will explore how to identify the strengths and weaknesses of your own organizational culture and how to transform it into a key driver of business success. This workshop is an opportunity to learn how to make culture a catalyst for growth, engagement, and the long-term sustainability of your organization.
Enhance your skills, connect with colleagues, and find inspiration for future HR challenges.
See you from May 6th to 8th at Hotel Lone in the picturesque town of Rovinj!
